Dettori set for Sulamani ride

Frankie Dettori is set to renew his association with Sulamani when Godolphin's four-year-old contests the Breeders' Cup Turf at Santa Anita later this month.

Sulamani has been campaigned in the United States since finishing second to Alamshar in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes at Ascot in July.

The son of Hernando was awarded the Arlington Million in the stewards' room on his American debut, when partnered by David Flores, before cruising home in the hands of Jerry Bailey in the Turf Classic Invitational Stakes at Belmont Park on his only subsequent start.

"After the Champion Stakes, I'm going to Canada to ride Hi Dubai in the EP Taylor Stakes and then I'll probably head down to Santa Anita," Dettori, who rode Sulamani on his first three outings for Godolphin, told the Racing Post.

"We know Sulamani is a good horse, who stays and should be thereabouts.

"I've won the Turf twice and three Breeders' Cup races. It'd be nice to win four."
