Spectroscope set for Chepstow spin
Spectroscope, a possible contender for top hurdling honours this season, is set to run at Chepstow on Saturday.
Jonjo O’Neill’s JCB Triumph Hurdle winner has had two recent runs on the Flat at York and Haydock and will lack nothing in fitness for his return to jumping.
He is due to contest the £18,000 (€25,700) skybetvegas.com Free Handicap Hurdle.
However, he will not have matters all his own way as Philip Hobbs is set to saddle Northumberland Plate winner Unleash while champion trainer Martin Pipe could be represented by the useful Don Fernando.
