Lago earns tilt at listed company

Trainer Clive Cox plans to test Lago d’Orta in better company after the colt landed his fourth prize of the season in the Paul Kelleway Memorial Classified Stakes at Lingfield on Wednesday.

Lago d’Orta, ridden by Dane O’Neill, trounced his field after bursting clear over a furlong out in the extended seven-furlong contest to score by four lengths from Yafoul.
