Punters find Bell filly irresistible

Michael Bell’s Irresistible earned a step up in class when gaining her second success from only three starts in the opening Maxiprint Nursery at York today.

Michael Fenton sent the 6-4 favourite into the lead approaching the final furlong and she kept on well to hold Sheriff Shift by one and a quarter lengths with Desert Spirit a similar distance away in third.

Bell trains Irresistible for her owner/breeders Cheveley Park Stud, and the former’s travelling head girl Gillian Dolman said: “The plan now is to run her in the Listed First Of Clyde Stakes at Ayr. She is very consistent and is improving all the time.”
