Grand National-winning jockey David Mullins expects to be back in action in the three to four weeks once his broken collar bone has healed.

The 20-year-old had a plate inserted at St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin, on Thursday morning.

He suffered a broken collar bone and a collapsed lung in a fall at the fourth-last flight on Erlkonig in the McHale Coranna Handicap Hurdle at Ballinrobe over a week ago.
