Max Dynamite set for power-packed return

Willie Mullins is looking to see Max Dynamite recapture the brilliant form which saw him narrowly miss out on winning the Melbourne Cup when he reappears in Sandown’s BetVictor Henry II Stakes this evening.

Before going so close Down Under Max Dynamite was a breathtaking winner of the Lonsdale Cup at York, with the likes of Clever Cookie, Trip To Paris and Big Orange all trailing in his wake.

Mullins would have preferred an earlier comeback with the Ascot Gold Cup in mind, but if Max Dynamite is to head off on his travels again it might not be the worst preparation in the world given the Melbourne Cup is not until November.
