O’Regan and Ferguson split

Denis O’Regan’s role as main rider to John Ferguson is at an end.

O’Regan rode 250 times for Ferguson since 2011, notching 55 winners including Ruacana in the Grade One Future Champions Finale Juvenile Hurdle at Chepstow last January.

However, Ferguson has decided he would like to widen his options in the saddle, according to O’Regan, ending his unofficial partnership with the stylish rider.
