Mistake-prone Tarla makes all to justify odds of 4/6

Tarla notched her second win over fences when making all to justify 4/6 favouritism in the Irish Stallion Farms Mares Chase in Limerick yesterday.

A faller in her two most recent excursions over fences, the Willie Mullins-trained mare survived a number of mistakes before seeing off Caheronaun by nine and a half lengths, providing Emmet Mullins with a winning spare ride as he deputies for Declan Lavery, who sustained a hip injury in a fall from Gates Of Rome in Kilbeggan on Friday.
