Good chance for Stonemasterto get his act together over fences

There are solid reasons for believing Dessie Hughes’ Stonemaster capable of landing the nap in the Belvedere House, Garden And Park Handicap Chase at Kilbeggan tonight.

He was a very smart hurdler, often mixing it with some particularly smart sorts, but has yet to translate anything like his best form over flights to fences.

But the selection is only seven and runs here off a mark which is 19lbs below his hurdles rating. Sooner or later, hopefully, he is going to get his act together and there is a good chance it may be now.
