Caheronaun can collect

His latest outing saw him run a cracker in the Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse, finishing seventh behind Lion Na Bearnai, after running prominently for much of the trip.

Charles Byrnes’ Whiskey Hall gets the nod in the two and a half mile Cahore Handicap Hurdle. Having a first outing for the trainer, he was a decent gamble at Limerick, but proved no match for Peccatorum in the closing stages. Whiskey Hall, hopefully, will now continue to go forward and runs here off a mark just 2lbs higher.
