Queen poised to reign in maiden
The daughter of Peintre Celebre was very light in the market when making her debut on this track two weeks ago, but performed well enough to indicate her turn might not be long delayed.
Drawn wide, the selection gradually worked into the contest and held every chance early in the straight. She faded from the furlong pole, however, to finish third behind Sikara and Adiynara and wasn’t knocked about in the closing stages. The bare form probably isn’t good enough to cope with the likes of Palinode and Oh What A Kitten, but it will be no surprise should She’s A Queen improve past two well exposed rivals.
