Sunshine Always set for change of fortune

SUNSHINE ALWAYS did not enjoy much luck at Lingfield last time but compensation awaits at Kempton today.

Jemma Marshall had to sit and suffer aboard the five-year-old grey in the straight in February before getting a clear run all too late to make an impact.

Running without his usual cheekpieces and making his debut for Michael Attwater, Sunshine Always was a bit keen early on so Marshall sensibly sought some cover, but failed to get the breaks when she really needed them.

Nevertheless, Sunshine Always finished strongly when he did see some space and it was a creditable effort after five months off the track.

He remains on the same mark of 70 here and given that he has won off 80 in the past, he could be well in for the skysports.com Racing Handicap (London Mile Qualifier).

Marco Botti suffered a blow earlier in the week when it was confirmed his stable star Gitano Hernando has been sold, but a double on the card should put a bit of a smile back on his face.

Peachez is obviously not straightforward as she sported blinkers for her racecourse bow here earlier this month but she is not without ability, as evidenced by her third that day.

She missed the break on that occasion but did stay on to finish a close third so she obviously has claims in the betdaq.com Exchange Price Multiples Median Auction Maiden Stakes.

Sweet Origin is another likely winner for Botti in the Betdaq Mobile Apps Handicap.

He will be bidding for a third win on the bounce following two victories at Wolverhampton last month.

The four-year-old was sent off a hot favourite on his handicap debut after winning his maiden in a canter and he duly obliged, although only in workmanlike fashion.

He has gone up 5lb for that success but the gelding is still learning and might be better still with another run under his belt.

Boragh Jamal made a satisfactory return when second at this track three weeks ago and she can go one place better in the Lay Back And Win At betdaq.com Handicap.

She just got run out of it over six furlongs that day but dropped back to the minimum trip here, Brian Meehan’s charge is of plenty of interest.
