Entries unveiled for Cheltenham Festival handicaps
The £75,000 Stewart Family Spinal Research Handicap Chase on the opening day has attracted a quality entry of 85. Irish trainers have won every running of the £40,000 Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase since the contest was introduced at the 2005 Festival and 15 of the 33 entries in this year’s race are trained in Ireland.
Last year’s winner A New Story is among the possibles while Garde Champetre is among five entries for cross-country specialist Enda Bolger.
