NOEL MEADE, languishing in ninth place behind Gordon Elliott in the trainers’ championship, can edge up the list a little with Dilshaan’s Prize in the Rover Maiden Hurdle at Listowel today.

The six-year-old, who showed on the flat that he likes cut in the surface, has been rested since making his debut over jumps at Sligo in May.

On fast ground, he performed with real promise to finish ten lengths second behind the smart Ballyadam Brook.
