Connections pleased with Europe bow

SIZING Europe is reported to be in fine shape following an impressive introduction to fences at Punchestown on Tuesday.

Just 18 days after finishing fourth to Solwhit in the Rabobank Champion Hurdle at the same track, the seven-year-old showed he could have a bright future over the bigger obstacles with a smooth victory in the Evening Meetings At Punchestown Beginners Chase.

“He seems fine this morning – we were over the moon with him,” said trainer Henry de Bromhead.
