Paul Blockley was yesterday still stunned after being warned off for two and a half years following a hearing of British Horseracing Authority’s disciplinary panel.

The Lambourn trainer and jockey Dean McKeown, who was hit with a four-year ban, were punished on Thursday following the latest investigation into alleged corruption.

The pair, along with seven others, were charged in connection with the laying of horses to lose in 11 races that took place between March 2004 and December 2005.
