Almolahek the answer

DERMOT WELD’S Almolahek can land an above average contest for the track, the Glenville Bar And Lounge Maiden at Wexford this evening.

The twice-raced son of Red Ransom was well-backed to make a winning seasonal reappearance at Navan last month, but found one too good for him in Kevin Prendergast’s Takween.

The selection travelled really nicely through the contest, but didn’t pick up as well as the winner in the closing stages, going under by a length.
