Willie Mullins currently has two smashing mares, J’y Vole and Pomme Tiepy, taking all before them and unveils another potentially useful sort in Candy Girl in the second division of the Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Beginners Chase.
Whether she is in their league remains to be seen, but Candy Girl should prove well capable of making a winning debut over fences against this opposition.

She has obviously had her problems and was returning from a long absence when runner-up behind Scavenger in a three mile maiden hurdle at Gowran Park in December. It was a promising effort and, if building on that, should prove well up to this task.
There are some particularly interesting newcomers in the Bumper, but the one to beat is the relatively experienced Rochester Row.
