DYLAN Thomas is reportedly “thriving” in his preparations for the Honk Kong Vase on Sunday.

Aidan O’Brien’s Arc winner, whose Japan Cup mission was aborted due to veterinary red tape, is looking to end his career on a high.

O’Brien’s travelling head lad, Pat Keating, has been pleased with the Horse of the Year and expects a much better performance than in the Breeders’ Cup.
