Indian Love looks primed to strike
It has been a case of steady improve ment for Paul Cashman’s mare and she should now be primed to strike in a moderate contest.
The daughter of Indian Danehill ran easily her best race to date at Fairyhouse nine days ago when fourth behind Dessie Hughes’ Noble Prize.
A splendid jumper, Indian Love was noted staying on nicely at the end and, with the capable Denis Hogan in the plate tonight, seems well capable of landing this.
The Chip Chopman has real prospects of completing a quick hat-trick in the Oates Breheny Group Handicap.
He hadn’t shown a great deal on the flat, or over hurdles for that matter, until getting off the mark by three parts of a length from Glinsk at Ballinrobe last week.
The selection then followed by squeezing home, also by three parts of a length, over Allesandro at Limerick on Friday evening.
Major Title, who seems to be in good shape right now, is the one to beat in the ten furlongs Sligo Claiming Race.
He was impressive, in another claimer, when slamming Washington Poste at Ballinrobe eight days ago.
Rockazar should beat him, on form and at the weights, but, unlike Major Title, could struggle to see out this trip.
