Dunlop hoping for dry spell

ED DUNLOP has re-iterated that his popular mare Ouija Board will not contest Saturday’s Baileys Irish Champion Stakes unless conditions are in her favour.

The Newmarket handler is keeping a careful eye on the Leopardstown ground as he would not want it too soft for his stable star.

Dunlop is already eyeing an alternative engagement in France but a possible Leopardstown clash with last year’s Arc winner Hurricane Run would hold no fears for him.
