Dunlop hoping for dry spell
The Newmarket handler is keeping a careful eye on the Leopardstown ground as he would not want it too soft for his stable star.
Dunlop is already eyeing an alternative engagement in France but a possible Leopardstown clash with last year’s Arc winner Hurricane Run would hold no fears for him.
“I’m not sure if Hurricane Run is a definite runner yet but she (Ouija Board) is at the stage of her career where we are not going to run away from Hurricane Run,” said Dunlop.
“He’ll be a short-priced favourite as he is a worthy champion but she seems well and I hope the Goodwood race didn’t take too much out of her.
“If the ground is wrong she won’t run.”
