Race For The Starscan get back on track

IT has been a campaign of unfulfilled promise for Race For The Stars, but she should be capable of landing the Denny Cordell EBF Fillies Stakes at Gowran Park tonight.

The daughter of Fusaichi Pegasus has contested four Group Ones this season, the English 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh, Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood, and never threatened to take a hand at the business end of any of them.

But Race For The Stars now has her sights considerably lowered and a Group Three on this track is an entirely different matter altogether.
