The daughter of Fusaichi Pegasus has contested four Group Ones this season, the English 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh, Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood, and never threatened to take a hand at the business end of any of them.
But Race For The Stars now has her sights considerably lowered and a Group Three on this track is an entirely different matter altogether.
She was outclassed at Goodwood last time, finishing a well beaten sixth of seven behind Ouija Board.
The selection’s previous fourth, however, to the high-class Nannina in the Coronation at Ascot gives her a definite edge in this company.
Aidan O’Brien and Kieren Fallon team up with Race For The Stars and can combine for a double with once-raced Chief Running Bear in the State Street Ireland Maiden.
