Laywaan can make it third time lucky
Dermot Weld's daughter of Fantastic Light made her debut at Cork in June when beaten a neck by Uva Fragola.
She was then sent off a heavily-backed odds-on favourite at Gowran Park, but again found one too good for her, this time failing by a short head to peg back Noplacelikehome.
The form was boosted subsequently, however, when Noplacelikhome returned to Gowran to score again.
The form then appears rock solid, in the context of this opposition, and the manner in which the selection was running on at the end of seven furlongs last time augurs well for her in this extended mile event.
Useful hurdler Shandon Star can provide the answer to the Kielys' Electrical Stores Race over 14 furlongs.
Willie Mullins' charge showed she's no slouch on the level at Wexford when beating Danielli a cosy two lengths.
Dermot Weld's Startac is a most interesting challenger.
He hasn't been seen for 1,403 days, not since winning a Grade Two, worth £85,000, at Belmont Park in September of 2002.
More Rainbows is fancied to shrug off a double penalty in the Kenmare Timber Frame Homes Novice Chase. He beat Kit Carson at Roscommon and Pharviva at Navan and, hopefully, can concede weight all round.
