Lee sidelined with broken collarbone
However, the Irish jockey expects to be back in action in early March in time for the Cheltenham Festival later in the month.
The Grand National-winning jockey only came back at Catterick last month following six weeks out of action after he broke his right arm at Doncaster in November.
Lee’s agent Richard Hale said: “It’s a clean break. There’s nothing much you can do with a collarbone. You get it strapped up and give it the time it needs.
“He’s a fast healer. He got back from that broken arm a lot quicker than was expected.
“I would think he’d be hoping to be back in two and a half to three weeks. Hopefully it won’t be any longer than that.
“He should be back in action early in March.”
As a result of the injury Lee, who has ridden 80 winners this season, will miss several high-profile rides at the weekend, including Valley Henry in the Aon Chase and Dalaram in the totesport Trophy at Newbury.
