Spencer has high hopes on Albert

JAMIE SPENCER is hoping Albert Hall can prove up to the rise in class with victory in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster today.

The jockey takes the ride on Aidan O’Brien’s leading candidate in the final Group One race of the season, with Colm O’Donoghue aboard stablemate Hills Of Aran.

Albert Hall has been installed as favourite for the mile contest on Town Moor on the back of his win in the Beresford Stakes two weeks ago, having finished runner-up on his debut in September.
