Heros Collonges looks primed for Exeter glory

MULTIPLE chase winner Heros Collonges is an interesting runner in the Gregory Distribution Novices’ Hurdle at Exeter today.

Out for three years due to injury, Paul Nicholls’ French import has been lightly-raced since returning to the fray in January last year. But he proved he retains plenty of ability when second in this season’s Welsh National at Chepstow.

Only once has he faced hurdles in public before, and his main aim is next month’s Grand National.
