Bolger bandwagon to roll on

JIM BOLGER, fresh from a spectacular four-timer at Leopardstown a week ago, returns to the Dublin track with some decent chances this evening.

Bolger bandwagon to roll on

His once-raced Meas gets the nap to take the concluding mile and six Three Rock Maiden. The daughter of Mark Of Esteem was light in the market when making her debut here earlier in the month.

But she ran a cracking race to finish two lengths second behind market leader Greenhall Rambler and had one her principal dangers now, Ebony Shades, just over four lengths behind in fourth place.

Bolger can start his night by saddling Loblolly Bay to win the Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Fillies Maiden.

She hinted at ability, on soft ground, in three runs as a juvenile, but looked much more at home on fast ground on her reappearance at Leopardstown last month.

Loblolly Bay finished a length second in a handicap behind Bective Ranger with subsequent winners, Kova Hall, Dynah Mo Hum, and Ossiana, all in arrears.

Bolger’s Back To Paris, who did us a decent favour at Cork on Saturday, is fancied to defy a mandatory 5lbs penalty in the Sandyford Handicap.

He showed a tremendous turn of foot at the end of that contest, striding two lengths clear of Deerpark.

As long as the surface remains on the fast side then Back To Paris will take all the beating.

Lavender Rose, who caught the eye, despite only finishing eighth, behind Amigoni at Gowran Park, getts the nod in a wide open looking Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Median Auction Fillies Maiden.
