STAMFORD COSMO made every post a winning one when taking the final of the Boherduff Light & Griddle Bakery Backgraders Stake at Curraheen Park on Saturday night.

The John Linehan trained runner, the 9/4 joint favourite along with his kennelmate Satin Sandy, had the best of the break and led Jeffs Pacific into the bend.

The front pair had pulled nicely clear of the remainder by halfway, with Stamford Cosmo looking in control when two lengths clear of his rival at the third bend.
