Katie Taylor does not plan to step away from boxing completely, with moves into coaching and punditry both possibilities for the retired fighter.
Taylor ended her career in the ring with last month's victory over Flora Pili in front of a sold-out Croke Park.
"There are going to be so many opportunities for me, even in punditry maybe, in coaching maybe," she told RTÉ.
"I’m not going to step away from sport completely. I love my sport. It’s been a huge part of my life since I was ten, and I’m looking forward to getting involved in something. I’m not sure what that looks like right now, but I’m sure new dreams and ideas will spring up. Right now, I’m enjoying the season I’m in.

"I’m enjoying living a less intense life. Over these last 20 years, my whole life was focused on the next competition, the next fight, beating my body into submission every week in the gym.
"It’s nice to have time to reflect, enjoy life and enjoy family life. When those new dreams and ideas do spring up, I’m going to give them my heart and soul as well."
On Tuesday, Taylor launched HERstory, a two-part live show which will tour Ireland in 2027. The first half will be a theatrical play about Taylor's life up to the end of her amateur career in 2016 and the second a live on-stage interview with boxing journalist Steve Bunce.
"I’ve beaten my body up so much over these last 20 years," Taylor continued.
"My whole adult life was based around boxing, and most of my childhood was as well.
"There are parts of the gym I miss. I love the grit and the honesty of the gym. There’s a real honesty to boxing that I absolutely love, that I was drawn to as a kid. I love the boxing gym environment.
"I’ll always be involved in boxing in some way. I’ll still have a foot in the gym, but it’s the right time to end my career. You cannot top Croke Park anyway."
