Sharlene Mawdsley doing 'everything possible' to be fit for European Championships

Sharlene Mawdsley is in a race against time to recover from a hamstring injury ahead of next month’s European Championships, the Tipperary Olympian stating that she is doing “everything possible” to get back in time for the event in Birmingham.
“Unfortunately, I picked up a hamstring injury at Nationals,” she wrote on Instagram on Tuesday night. “I’m working closely with my medical team, @martinamc_oly, @paul.carragher and @athleticsirelandofficial and we’re doing everything possible to get me back as soon as we can.”
