Ireland rolled over Thailand for just 59 runs in Nepal to book their place at this summer's Women's T20 World Cup.

Batting first, Ireland made a solid start with Gaby Lewis hitting 26, Amy Hunter 24 and Orla Prendergast 23 before becoming the first of Suleeporn Laomi's four wickets, They were restricted to 121 for eight, but Arlene Kelly took four wickets for seven runs and Laura McBride three for six as Thailand were dismissed in 16.1 overs.

Ireland finished second behind Bangladesh in their Super Six group to secure their place in the tournament in England, which begins in June.
