The Republic of Ireland welcome Portugal to a sold out Aviva Stadium on Thursday in their third round World Cup Qualifier clash. Ireland sit in third place with four points while Portugal top the table on ten. 

Heimir Hallgrímssons' side are searching for at least one point from the game but if his side were able to pull off a win it would give them a boost towards qualifications if other results go their way.
