Jimmy O’Driscoll progressed to the Paddy Murray Cup final at Ballygurteen through a comfortable last shot win over Cian Boyle.

Boyle benefitted from a lovely touch on his third shot to lead by 40m past the first bend. O’Driscoll won his first lead by just five metres with a big fourth throw. He led the next two to the women’s lane. Boyle was in front again after two more to the avenue and defended his lead in all the exchanges to O’Donovan’s.
