Champions Cup rugby is back and the first round pits a repeat of last year's final as champions La Rochelle play host to Leinster, the European Cross Country Championships take place in Brussels with Ireland hoping to build on last year's success and the Munster and Ulster Club Senior Football Finals taking place on Sunday - another action packed week of sport.

Don't Miss: Champions Cup Rugby is back this weekend. Connacht are the first of the Irish teams out when they take on Bordeaux Bègles on Friday evening in The Sportsgrounds. Next up Ulster are away to Bath in The Rec on Saturday afternoon with Munster hosting Bayonne at Thomond Park Saturday evening. The last of the Irish provinces out is Leinster in a repeat of last's year final when they take on the champions Ronan O'Gara's La Rochelle at Stade Marcel Deflandre on Sunday afternoon. Set the Sky Box: European Cross Country Championships will take place in Laeken Park in Brussels on Sunday afternoon. Ireland will look to continue their good record at the Championships. In last year's competition Ireland brought home a record five medals and will be hoping to build on last years success. Fresh from qualifying for the 2024 Olympics in Paris at the Valencia Marathon, Fionnuala McCormack has a short turnaround as she prepares for a record 18th appearance for a female athlete at the Euro Cross Championships.
