Medals for Ireland; Conlan and Walsh through to European Championship semi-finals

The Ireland team will leave the European Boxing Championships with at least two medals as both Michael Conlan and Dean Walsh won quarter-finals in the last hour, guaranteeing them at least bronze.

First Bantamweight Conlan beat Danish southpaw Frederik Jensen on a unanimous decision (30-27,30-27,30-27).
