VIDEO: Katie Taylor’s brilliant promo for the European Games

Check out the new ad for the European Games, being held in Baku later this month, starring our very own Katie Taylor.

The Baku 2015 European Games will be the inaugural edition of the European Games, an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees of Europe.

So who better to promote the games than Taylor - current Irish, European, World and Olympic Champion in her weight division.

The 28-year-old shows no signs of her ambition waning, despite all she has already achieved.

“As long as I’m standing up there on the podium with a gold medal then I’m happy,” she says, staring fiercely at the camera.

The Bray boxer relishes being the favourite going into the competition and said that extra pressure only serves to push her more.

“I want to be the best female boxer of all time, and to make history in my sport. That inspires me every day.”

The Games will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 12 to 28 June 2015.
