Erakovic and Strycova to meet in Quebec final

Marina Erakovic and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova will meet in the final of the Bell Challenge in Quebec after winning their respective semi-finals on Saturday.

Erakovic has struggled with a hip injury for the last two years but continued her return to form with a three-set victory over third seed Tamira Paszek.

The New Zealander lost the opening set but hit back to win 2-6 7-5 6-4, the day after knocking out top seed Daniela Hantuchova.

Zahlavova Strycova had lost both of her previous meetings with Holland’s Michaella Krajicek, but the sixth seed turned the tables this time with a 6-4 6-3 win.
