Peelo eliminated from Laser Radial class event

Dublin sailor Ciara Peelo has been eliminated from the Laser Radial class at the Beijing Olympics today.

The Malahide woman finished 25th in race five, 18th in race eight and 10th in race nine to clinch 20th place overall.

Elsewhere, Ireland's Peter O'Leary and Stephen Milne are 14th overall in the Star class event after this morning's action.

They are just eight points adrift of Italy in 10th place.
