Gonzalez ends Blake hopes
Fernando Gonzalez caused a minor upset when he dumped out American contender James Blake in straight sets to reach the Australian Open quarter-finals in Melbourne today.
The Chilean, seeded 10th, won 7-5 7-6 7-6 (7/4) against fifth seed Blake and will now face the winner of the match between British number one Andy Murray and world number two Rafael Nadal in the last eight.
