Roddick ends Wang's Wimbledon
Andy Roddick secured his place in the second round of Wimbledon, completing a straight sets victory over Yeu-Tzuoo Wang of Taiwan at Centre Court.
Roddick won 6-3 7-5 6-4. The pair were called off court on Tuesday when the referee suspended play overnight and were unable to finish until today.
Despite saving match point in the ninth game of the third set, Wang was only delaying the inevitable as Roddick blew him away when serving in the next game to book a second round appointment with Alexander Peya of Austria.
