Moya may miss Aussie open

Carlos Moya was forced to retire from the final of the adidias International with a serious ankle injury which has put his participation in the Australian Open in doubt.

The Spaniard landed awkwardly on the outside of his right ankle attempting to save break point at 3-3 in the opening set againsy Lleyton Hewitt, with the early prognosis being a bad sprain at best.
