Tennis fans hope for break in Wimbledon clouds
The opening day of the world’s most famous tennis tournament got off to a damp start as hundreds of drenched fans packed up their camping equipment hoping for a break in the clouds.
But not even a Caribbean steel drum band playing Singing In The Rain could lighten the mood at Wimbledon as thoughts turned from the chance of snapping up the last remaining few tickets to the possibility of not seeing any tennis action at all.
