Armstrong: No decision on 2004 Le Tour

Lance Armstrong, who plans to try for a fifth consecutive Tour de France title, says it's too early to say whether he'll attempt the race again in 2004.

Lance Armstrong, who plans to try for a fifth consecutive Tour de France title, says it's too early to say whether he'll attempt the race again in 2004.

"Who can say what my motivation will be like in 2004, or what shape my body will be in," the 31-year-old told Le Figaro newspaper.

"Nobody escapes from the passage of time."

If Armstrong wins this year's Tour, he will emulate Miguel Indurain's record of five straight Tour de France titles, set from 1991-95.
