WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison claimed yesterday that his name is already part of Scottish boxing history.

The Glaswegian will break Jim Watt’s record of five title defences if he beats Ethiopia’s Swedish-based challenger Samuel Kebede at the Braehead Arena tomorrow night.

His manager Frank Maloney also revealed yesterday that his dream unification fight with WBC title holder Injin Chi - possibly at Hampden Park next year - has moved a step closer.
