Radcliffe given injury all-clear
Radcliffe surprisingly finished second over 5,000m on Sunday at the European Cup First League match in Portugal after winning over 3,000m the day before.
The 31-year-old, who picked up a viral infection last week, then travelled to Germany for a chiropractor to fix her lower back.
Radcliffe rushed off yesterday to see leading consultant Hans Muller-Wohlfahrt, who immediately arranged an appointment for her with the back specialist.
Radcliffe said: “I’ve been checked out by the chiropractitioner and my back has been put back into place. I had jammed the sacrum at the lower bottom of it. I was told off for running with it and they think it was a result of the fall I had in Eugene (at the Prefontaine Grand Prix Classic earlier this month), which did more damage than we thought.”
