Henman out of Swiss Indoor Championships

Tim Henman was knocked out in the Swiss Indoor quarter-finals in Basle last night 7-6 (7-5) 7-5 by Jiri Novak.

The British number one must now pick up ranking points at the Paris Masters to ensure qualification for the Masters Cup in Houston, Texas. Greg Rusedski won the battle of the big servers to overcome Ivo Karlovic and seal his place in the semi-finals of the St Petersburg Open today. Rusedski triumphed 6-4 7-6 (9-7).
