Yamaha on track

Yamaha’s return to the World Superbike Championship is on track despite bad weather during testing, according to rider Andrew Pitt.

The former World Supersport champion has been chosen to lead Yamaha’s return to top-level Superbike action and got another chance to test at Valencia this week.

The weather was not kind to his Yamaha Italia team and they battled against persistent rain to clock 90 laps. But Pitt was encouraged by what he saw.
