Eugenio Chacarra birdied the last hole to claim a one-shot victory at the KLM Open in Amsterdam.
The Spaniard, who went into the final round tied with Sweden’s Sebastian Soderberg on 10 under par, held his nerve to claim a second DP World Tour title with a one-under-par 70 which included four birdies and three bogeys.
However, it was Finn Oliver Lindell rather that the Swede who pushed him closest with a two-under-par round of 69 to take second place in his own right.
The Spaniard responded in kind with an excellent approach setting up a two-putt from around 20 feet to seal the crown at The International in Amsterdam.
Soderberg, who carded 73, had to make do with a share of third along with Maximilian Steinlechner, England’s Joe Dean and Angel Ayora, who sank an eagle putt at the 18th to join the trio on eight-under.
Chacarra said afterwards: "Shot of my career, maybe! So, proud to see the ball land on the green and then took a nice first putt to give me a putt that you always dream of, a putt that you can't really miss to win a tournament.
"(I was thinking about) all the people that have been with me through my career.
"It's nice to win with my dad here. He's given everything for me since I was little so it was something very unique and I think of him, for sure."
