Power finishes in style to move up Kenya Open leaderboard

Mark Power will be hoping for a strong weekend after a sparkling finish moved him up the leaderboard at the Magical Kenya Open on Friday.
The former Walker Cup star finish birdie, birdie, eagle to shot 65 in his second round at Karen Country Club near Nairobi, to vault into 16th place, five shots behind leaders Frederic Lacroix and Casey.
The 25-year-old, who has a card for the HotelPlanner Tour this season, won the Clutch Tour Championship last year. The Kilkenny golfer is making is first appearance on the DP World Tour since last year's Amgen Irish Open at the K Club.
Frenchman Lacroix shot 62 to match the opening round of Jarvis, who held the joint lead for the second day in succession after a 65.
Jarvis' fellow South African Hennie Du Plessis shot 61 to share third place with Angel Ayora and Ricardo Gouveia on 11 under. Scotland's David Law, one off the lead after day one, reached nine under with a 68.
Njoroge Kibugu delighted the home crowd by making the cut at five under with an eagle at the last. The 22-year-old Kenyan said of the six-iron approach that sealed his place: "Oh, I'm putting it in a museum or something!"
