Like most National Cup finals weekends, Cork and Dublin are the two most represented areas at the big ball being staged this weekend out in Tallaght. Just behind them though in third is an emerging powerbase in the sport – Limerick.

On Saturday evening (4.45pm) Limerick Celtics face off against Cork’s Brunell in the U18 women’s decider. Then in Sunday’s opening session Limerick Sports Huskies contest the women’s first division final, followed straight away by their sibling club, Limerick Sport Eagles, taking part in the first division final of the men’s (2.30pm).
